GOWL 2017 Preliminaries Game Two: Tau Empire Farsight Enclaves FOC

Game Two of the GarageOrigins Warhammer 40K League took place after the Christmas break, and I’m falling behind with the batreps so I want to make sure I get the Force Organization Charts out before I finish them. I’m also looking to get a little help with the writing of these posts.

Anyhow, let’s get down to Mike’s Tau Empire army list…

Tau Empire Farsight Enclaves Force Roster

Mike has chosen to arrange his army into a Combined Arms Detachment. This is going to grant him two Command BenefitsIdeal Mission Commander and Objective Secured (Troops). In order for this to be Battleforged, all units in this detachment must be selected from the same Faction; this Detachment also requires one HQ unit and two Troops units. Mike has also decided to build his army as one from the Farsight Enclaves. This imparts the following special rules to every unit in his army: Battlesuit SpearheadOrk Hunters and Ta’lissera Bond.

Command Benefits

  • Ideal Mission Commander: If this Detachment is chosen as your Primary Detachment, you can choose to re-roll the result on the Warlord Trait table.
  • Objective Secured (Troops): A unit with this special rule controls objectives even if an enemy scoring unit is within range of the objective marker, unless the enemy unit also has this special rule.

And now, the units that make up Mike’s army.

Combined Arms Detachment:

  1. HQ – Commander (1; Warlord)
  2. Troops – XV8 Crisis Battlesuit (1; Shas’ui)
